I had the pleasure of judging the finalists from each class – looking at taste, appearance and consistency of the cake. Each baker certainly excelled in at least one of those things but Finnley managed all three. His design was simple but effective. His enthusiasm for music came through in his self-piped design; he produced 6 very consistent, beautiful Lemon Drizzle cakes.
It has been amazing seeing so many pupils taking on the baking challenge and hopefully spending some quality fun and educational time in the kitchen at home. Some children baked just so we could have cakes to sell, which is very touching and speaks volumes about our children at Radbrook. Well done everyone and good luck Finnley in the MAT final!
