On Wednesday 12th October, to support this term's topic on the Stone Age, we were all very excited to visit Edgmond Hall, Newport, Shropshire.
The children took part in making Stone Age huts from branches, sticks, leaves and soil, making some very impressive waterproof huts. After lunch the children really enjoyed taking part in using flint stone to create small controlled sparks, then finally using cut branches, shards of stone and twine to create a Stone Age weapon.
