Learning Cafe
EYFS ran our first ever learning cafe this afternoon, focusing on phonics. Parents found out about how Read, Write Inc is used throughout the school. They then went to see a phonics lesson in action in their child’s class and then joined in with some phonics activities together.
Parents said, “It was lovely to find out about what my child is doing and to see how I can help.” “This is very different to when I was at school, so I know what to do now!”
“My child has been talking about what he has been doing but now I know what he means.” “The session was perfect, I can’t wait for more!”
