Shrewsbury Library Trip 06.03.24
Our EYFS children enjoyed a fantastic trip to Shrewsbury Library to celebrate World Book Day. They learnt about how you take books out of the library, they shared stories together and had a go at being librarians too! They had a tour of the library, seeing the old books, quill pens and even a child's shoe which had been found inside the building. They learnt about what it was like to go to school there and decided the teachers looked really grumpy!
We were so proud of how respectful the children were with the books and precious artefacts. Their super behaviour was complimented by library staff and the public too. Top job Bumblebees and Dragonflies!
