Monday 8th May representatives from both KS1 and KS2 had the honour of representing Radbrook at the Greenhous Meadow.
The children from KS1 played some very good football in an extremely sporting way and left after winning 3 of their games and drawing 1, and left with big smiles and medals.
The team from KS2 were all from year 4 and they too played some excellent football and recorded 3 victories and 1 loss. Radbrook won their first game 3-1 against St Marys, a comprehensive 6-1 win against Worthen followed before pluckily losing 2-1 to a very strong Crowmore team. Congratulations to Radbrook who ended as very sporting runners up after their very close final game, which ended 2-1 against Coleham, losing out to the Crowmore team by just 1 point.
Thank you to all children for representing Radbrook and parents and families for their support as well as the assistance of Mrs Lewis, Mr Cole, not forgeting Shrewsbury Town for hosting the event and the time of the development coaches.
The school would like to extend a big congratulations to the Year 5's on their series of victories, which lead to them winning the latest Kwik Cricket tournament at Shrewsbury Sports Village with the enviable record of 6 wins from 6.
The victory provides the team withe the opportunity to represent the school in the up coming county finals on the 5th April.
The KS1 performance was an exceptionally entertaining production of Baubles followed by the KS2 production around the theme of Christmas Past.
